In Our Community

Cheatham students participate in a number of activities to directly serve their community. These include:

Humane Society Blanket Drive

One of the items on the Arizona Humane Society’s wish list is gently used blankets.  The AVID students at Cheatham answered the call.  Students collected gently used blankets for this cause.  If you would like to make a donation, please bring your gently used blanket to our office.

Helping Hands Club

Cheatham has partnered with Safeway on Baseline and 51st Ave. to provide food to families in need in our community.  The Helping Hands club includes Ms. Barron, Ms. Conley and Ms. Lara and several Cheatham students   Each Monday, the food is collected from Safeway and organized by the students into packages.  The teachers distribute the food to families in need on Tuesdays.  If you know a Cheatham family in need of extra food, please contact the school office for more information about this program.

Relay for Life

Cheatham’s student council raised $533 for Relay for Life through sponsoring dress down days.
